NewsTarget Tattler NewsletterDownload the latest issue of the Target Tattler newsletter as a PDF. 600 Round at Chicago Archery Club This 600 Round, held on January 17, marked the halfway point in the Winter Tournament Schedule. A total of ten archers attended this event at Hamilton Park on the South Side of Chicago. The next event will be held at Pulaski Park on Saturday, February 6. ![]() ![]() CONGRATULATIONS CPDAA! January 9, 2010 marked the Annual Chicago Bowhunters (CBH) - Chicago Park District Archery Association (CPDAA) club-against-club shoot. For the first time in it's three year existance, CPDAA took the victory. More than twenty archers, including several of CBH's JOAD (Junior Olympic Archery Development) youngsters, took the shooting line to represent their clubs. The two clubs collectly shot a total of 275 "X's". A strong showing by Jim Hoffman, Jim Power, Wayne Hockett, Tom Daniel and LPAC President, Warren Levin lead the way as CPDAA outscored CBH 1473 points to 1452. Chicago Bowhunters and Chicago Park District Archery Association share a strong bond as we partner to build archery awareness in northern Illinois. All members of both clubs are invited to participate in club events as much as possible. There are six more shoots scheduled for the Winter Season. Be sure to come on out and join us for some good times.
